Q2. What is the length of the telescopic boom? Is it the total length of the boom?

A2. The length of the two-stage telescopic boom refers to excavation depth. For example, the 14m telescopic boom refers to the maximum excavation depth of 14m, not the boom length of 14m.

Q3. How to judge the length of telescopic boom that can be made for different models?

A3. Because the length of the telescopic boom is directly related to the length of the boom. We should ensure that the telescopic boom will not touch the bridge when it is placed on the ground.

Q4. Do I need to modify the original machine to fit the telescopic boom? Any precautions?

A4. The original machine needs three sets of pipes. The telescopic function of the telescopic arm is controlled by the original breaker pipe. We need to replace the original one-way foot switch with a two-way foot switch to achieve the telescopic function. The other operations are the same. The more important thing is balance and safety. Try to avoid the 90 degree operation between the cab and the track shoe.

Q5. Note and maintenance of telescopic arm

A5. 1st, telescopic arm does not allow inclined excavation.

2nd, it can't dig hard things but only soft soil.

3rd, it is not allowed to jack or hoist when the smallest arm is not fully retracted.

4th, the end can't lift things more than 1 ton, which would bend the telescopic arm. If so, no warranty.

5th, telescopic boom shall be greased every day, and the boom barrel shall be greased at least once a week to keep the boom barrel full of butter.
